About Irene F. Stein

“With twenty years of experience in high-tech industry, I understand the unique challenges of a fast-paced, highly competitive environment where cooperation, effective communication, and individual leadership at all levels are the doorways to increased productivity. “

Irene F. Stein, President and Principle Associate
All the Programs offered by Irenic Communications Group, Inc. have been developed under Irene’s supervision and reflect her management experience, her coach training, and her vision of a workplace where all employees are energized and productive.

As a manager at Hewlett-Packard Corporation, Irene pioneered a coaching style in a high-tech, rapidly moving environment and demonstrated the effectiveness of the coach-approach style of management. Her teams completed high quality schedule-driven projects while remaining energized throughout and found time to ‘sharpen the saw’ through personal development and process improvement.

Individuals on her team benefited from her coach-approach style by increasing their influence in the organization and being highly productive while maintaining a positive life/work balance.

This demonstration of success came after years of studying and experimenting on how to build and maintain an effective organization. Irene obtained a Masters’ degree in Communication Development from Colorado State University and is continuing her studies as a Ph.D. candidate in Fielding Institute’s Human and Organizational Development Program.

Irene has tuned her coaching skills by completing both the Corporate Coach U Corporate Business Coaching Program and the Hudson Institute Coach Certification Program. She is an active member of the International Coach Federation and Vice-President of the Northern Colorado Coaches Alliance.
